Adding onto an existing home is exciting - until you realize the roof has to match perfectly. A mismatched roofline sticks out immediately, and it can drag down the look of an otherwise beautiful home. That's exactly the challenge we love solving.

This addition in Spicewood gave us a great opportunity to show what a clean, well-executed new construction roof really looks like. The framing was fresh, the structure was solid, and our job was to tie the new section into the existing roofline without skipping a beat. No visible seams. No mismatched shingle color. Just a continuous, cohesive look from one end to the other.

Getting a seamless match comes down to a few things - selecting the right shingle profile, nailing the layout so the pattern flows naturally across both sections, and making sure the flashing and transitions are done right the first time. When any of those pieces are off, it shows. When they're done right, you can't tell where the original roof ends and the new one begins.

Spicewood is one of those areas where homes sit in beautiful surroundings, and the details matter. These neighborhoods have character, and the homes deserve roofing work that holds up to that standard. We take that seriously on every new construction job we touch.

Whether you're building a new home from the ground up or adding on to what you already have, the roof is one of the most critical pieces to get right. We've been doing this long enough to know where corners get cut - and how to make sure that doesn't happen on our jobs.
